As digital technology continues to pervade every area of our lives, cybersecurity has quickly become the issue of our time. The Allies for Consumer Digital Safety is a nonprofit organization formed to empower people to protect themselves online — and who better to start with than tech-obsessed Millennials?
$ammi was our entertaining entry into the larger call to action: “Protect Your Selfie.”
The challenge was to create an integrated campaign to motivate Millennials and break through their apathy about digital security. So we developed a “reverse psychology PSA.” Instead of telling them how to avoid hackers, we shared the top tips on how to become a hacker.
$ammi flooded the Internet, from video to social to audio, showing just how easy it is to hack personal information.
